fiction feature film
A man's body is found in the Chernobyl zone. He turns out to be a former employee of the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Natural Resources of Ukraine. The case is quickly closed, announcing the cause of death - wild animals. But there are still many illogical things and evidence. The murdered man's wife, Maria, takes on her own investigation. Step by step, she discovers facts about her husband that she never even guessed. And this whole mysterious story is connected with the plan to flood Chernobyl, which was supposed to be implemented a long time ago, but every time there were some reasons and everything was postponed. Maria digs into the fact that Russian and Belarusian money was involved in this case. The woman increasingly feels an external threat and understands that she is already in danger and must reveal the truth to the world. But February 24, 2022 comes and Russian tanks enter the territory of Ukraine through the same part of the Chernobyl zone that was supposed to be flooded.
