PHANTOMS

fiction feature film

September 2013. On the eve of the European Union Summit in Vilnius, where the signing of the Association Agreement between Ukraine and the EU is scheduled, an international conference with the participation of prominent historians, politicians, and diplomats is planned in Vilnius. The conference is dedicated to the issues of relations between Ukraine, Russia, and the European Union. One of its honorary guests is Mrs. Olesia Tesler, a former Soviet dissident who is now one of the most famous German historians and an honorary professor at the University of Munich. General Margolin, the head of the European residency of the FSB, plans a terrorist operation to disrupt the conference and postpone the EU summit—a mass murder of the most significant conference guests, including Tesler. However, Lieutenant Letiagin, sent to eliminate her, refuses to carry out the criminal order and helps Olesia Tesler escape from the FSB. At the cost of their own lives, Tesler and Letiagin thwart the FSB operation and expose the plan for the future occupation of Ukraine developed by the Russian leadership.
