fiction feature film
At the beginning of the Russian-Ukrainian war in 2022, an ordinary Ukrainian family: a mother, a father, and two adult children, try to take their elderly grandmother, who is unable to understand the real situation and refuses to leave because she lives in the imagination of her past Soviet life, out of the occupied territory to safety. This circumstance turns out to be tragic for her young relatives, who are forced to pay with their lives for the bizarre whims of the past. It is also the story of a family that unites in moments of danger, leaving behind its contradictions, complexes, clichés, selfishness and weakness.
