About the event
Anna Kepińska was born in Wroclaw in 1975. She graduated in film and television production at the Krzysztof Keśliowski Faculty of Radio and Television (University of Silesia). From 1998 to 2008, she worked at BESTA FILM Group. Anna was the production manager and producer of many documentaries co-produced with ZDF/ARTE and TVP, for example, the series "Secret Russia", "Sternflustern", "Swedish Tango", the first Polish documentary series "The Infant Jesus Hospital" and The Center of Hope. She has also worked on feature series such as 'A School Break', 'The Rose Inn' and 'The Parish' (Plebania). Since 2003, Anna Kepinska has managed the company TELEMARK Sp. z o. o. as co-owner, board member and creative producer. As a creative producer of TELEMARK, she has created critically acclaimed and multi-award winning documentaries (Entangled, Over the Limit), feature film (Interior, directed by Marek Lechki) and drama series - Londoners ( seasons 1-2, TVP), "Bez Tajemnic – In Treatment" (seasons 1-3, HBO), "Pakt - The Pact" (seasons 1-2, HBO) and "Illegals" (season 1, Canal+). She is currently working on the drama series "High Water" based on her own idea (Netflix).
Kasper Bayon(born 1983) – writer, poet, film director. Studied at the Institute of Polish Culture (Warsaw University). He has published several books in prose and poetry collections, including Fuerte, which was nominated for the Nike Literary Award (2021). Recipient of a grant from the Minister of Culture and National Heritage. His debut feature film Via Carpatia (2018), shot together with Klara Kohanska, was screened at many festivals in Poland and abroad. Wrote scripts for such series as The Mire (Rojst) - seasons 1 and 2, Open Your Eyes, High Water. A collection of his essays on chess called The Orangutan Gambit will be published at the end of September.
