About the event

Jo Woolf is a British TV producer who has been working in the television industry for over 20 years, making a whole range of factual series for British and American channels and SVODs. Some of her credits include: Masterchef, The Apprentice, The Great British Bake Off, 24 Hours in A and E, First Dates, Undateables, Big Flower Fight, as well as many one-off documentaries and series. Alongside her producing Jo also works as a coach and trainer, helping TV professionals understand and improve their storytelling on the shoot and in the edit, script-writing, interview techniques, team dynamics, and many aspects of the craft of factual tv production.

  • What is the typical workflow, timeline, and production process in making an Unscripted series?
  • How is an unscripted team put together and who are the team members?
  • How do you craft an unscripted storyline within an episode and within a series as a whole?
