documentary projects
On February 24, on the first day of the war, the symbol of the military power of the largest country in the world, the flagship and pride of the fleet, the missile cruiser Moskva approached the tiny Ukrainian Zmiinyi island, pointed its guns at 13 border guards and offered to surrender. Moskva and the whole world heard the answer of a simple Ukrainian soldier, "Russian warship, go f*** yourself!"
What happened next became history: the defense of Zmiinyi, the defense of Azovstal, Kyiv, Kharkiv, Chernihiv, and hundreds of other Ukrainian cities and villages, thousands of dead, millions of refugees, the tragedies of Irpin, Bucha, Borodianka…
And one of the most powerful bricks in the construction of the future victory, the destruction of Moskva cruiser on April 13, 2022, has already become a myth, but a thick veil of military secrecy still surrounds it. Our film will tell this fascinating story in detail from beginning to end: with a minute-by-minute chronology of critical episodes, involving the direct participants of the operation as intelligent officers, rocket operators, pilots, sailors, soldiers, officers, and generals, who planned and implemented one of the most brilliant operations of this war. A large amount of unique chronicles and location shooting will be used in the film.
The most intense moments of the story will be recreated with the help of high-quality CGI graphics. The film will also tell the story of the heroic border guards of Zmiinyi island, the liberation operation, the history of the creation of the Neptune missile system, and its secret transfer to a combat position under enemy fire because when Russia learned the location of the Ukrainian Neptunes, their destruction became enemy's priority. The film will also unfold the global context of events, including NATO assistance, the history of Ukrainian-Russian relations, the creation of project 1164 Atlant (a type of now cruiser submarine Moskva), and the general course of the war. The film narrators will be military experts and analysts from Ukraine and allied countries.
